Steps of construction : 1 Mark



Steps of construction:

1. Draw a circle with centre O and radius 3 cm.

2. Draw a radius OA of this circle and produce it to B.

3. Construct an angle AOP equal to the complement of 30 i.e. equal to 60 [ OPQ = 900]

4. Draw perpendicular to OP at P which intersects OA produced at Q.

5. PQ is the required tangent such that OQP =30
