Hint: The area of rectangle = length × width

Step 1: Now as shown in figure:

if we let one side of figure as = (4+1)

The other side of that figure as = x+2x

Now as we know
The area of rectangle = length × width
=(4+1)(x+2x)
So here it is representing the area of
Step 2: Simplification of that expression

(4+1)(x+2x)=5(3x){Combineliketerms}=15x{Multiply}

So, area is (25+5x)
