Draw a graph to show the area side of a square.

We know that the area of a square is the square of its side. (i.e) A=a2.
(Here, A = Area, a = side). For different values of a, the values of A are given in the following table.
a (in cm) 12345
A=a2(incm2) 1491625
Points: (1 , 1), (2 , 4), (3 , 9), (4 ,16), (5 , 25)
Plot the above points.
Join all the points. Observe the graph. Is it a linear graph? No. It is a curve.
