The image formed by a concave mirror when the object is placed beyond the centre of curvature:

When an object is placed in front of a concave mirror, light rays from the object fall on the mirror and get reflected. The reflected rays produce an image at a point where they intersect each other.

Characteristics of the image:

  1. Position of object: beyond the centre of curvature
  2. Position of the image: Between the focus(F) and centre of curvature (C)
  3. Nature of the image: Real, inverted, diminished
