Draw a line segment AB of length 10cm with A as centre and 4cm radius draw a circle and with B as centre and 3cm radius draw another circle. Draw tangent from centre of each circle to the other circle.

Steps to follow,

Step 1: draw line segment AB of length 8 cm

Step 2: taking A as a center, draw a circle of radius 4 cm

Step 3: taking B as a center, draw a circle of radius 3 cm

Step 4: make perpendicular bisector of AB. Let M be the midpoint of AB

Step 5: taking M as center and MA as radius, draw a circle.

Step 6: let circle intersect left circle at P,Q

Step 7: let circle intersect right circle at R,S

Step 8: join BP, BQ, AR, AS

AR, AS, BP, BQ are the required tangents.
