Step 3. Along AX, mark 6 points A₁, A₂_, A₃_,A₄_, A₅, A₆such that,
AA₁ = A₁A₂ = A₂A₃ = A₃A₄ = A₄A₅= A₅A₆ .
Step 4. Join A₆B.
Step 5. Draw A₁C ∥A₂D, A₃D, A₄F and A₅G .

Thus, AB is divided into six equal parts.
