3. Locate 3 points P₁, P₂, P₃ on PX and 2 points Q₁ and Q₂ on QY, such that PP₁ = P₁P₂ = P₂P₃ = QQ₁ = Q₁Q₂.

4. Now, join P₃Q₂ which intersects PQ at T.

T is the point on PQ which divides the line segment PQ in the ratio 3:2.
