Common Areas Convectional Rainfall is very common in areas where the ground is heated by the hot sun, such as the Tropics. Orographic Rainfall commonly occurs along the coastal areas. Cyclonic Rainfall is commonly occurs in equatorial regions.
Formation It is formed when air is hot rises and cools and condenses forming rain.
