Draw a tangent at any point R on a circle of radius 3.2 cm and centre P.

1. Draw a circle with centre P and radius 3.2 cm. Mark any point R on it.
2. Draw a ray PR. Mark equidistant points on the ray on either side of R.
3. Place the compass on one of the point and mark two arcs on either side of PR. Repeat the same step for the other point.
4. Join the intersection points of the arcs.

RS is the required tangent.
