Animal cell:

  1. Animal cells are eukaryotic in nature and spherical in shape.
  2. Animal cells lack a cell wall, a prominent vacuole and plastids.
  3. It contains a complex golgi apparatus, centrosomes and centrioles.

Plant cell:

  1. Plant cells are eukaryotic and larger than animal cells.
  2. Plant cells are covered by a tough cell wall.
  3. It contains a well developed plastid and vacuoles.
  4. In plant cells, golgi complex is present as dictyosomes.
  5. It lacks centrosomes and centrioles.
