Solution

Anaphase stage of mitosis in plant cell:

  1. In plant cells, during anaphase, the sister chromatids separate and move towards the opposite pole.
  2. Shortening of chromosome fibers lead to this movement.
  3. At the end of anaphase, two groups of single-stranded chromosomes are formed at the two opposite poles.

The anaphase stage of mitosis in plant cells with four chromosomes is as shown below:

  1. Pole: The sister chromatids align themselves at the equator of the cell during metaphase while moving towards the pole during anaphase.
  2. Spindle fiber: Spindle fibers hold the chromosomes in position.
  3. Cell wall: Cell wall is the outermost covering of the plant cell.
