Unipolar neuron : It has only one process which is short and extends from the cell body and then branches into two processes.

Bipolar neuron : It has two processes that extend in opposite direction. One process is called axon and the other process is called dendrite.

Multipolar neuron : It has one axon and multiple dentrides emerging from the cell body.
