Step 2: Place a set square on $m$ such that one arm of its right angle aligns along $m$.

Step 3: Place a ruler along the edge opposite to the right angle of the set square.

Step 4: Keeping the ruler firmly, move the set square along the ruler till its vertical side passes through the given point $A$ . Mark the point as $B$, where the edge of the set meets line m.

Step 5: Join $AB$ along the edge through $A$ meeting line $m$ at point $B$. Now, $AB$ is perpendicular to line $m$
