Step 2- Taking $O$ as the centre, draw another circle of radius $R = 6.5 c m$ .

Then, the figure results into concentric circles with radius $6.5$ and $5 c m$ .

Then width of circular ring $= R - r = 6.5 - 5 = 1.5 c m$
