First we will make a grid with 16 equal divisions.

The grid is to be filled with 28 red, 12 green and 14 yellow.

28 red =28×22 red =2×28×2 red =416 red

12 green =12×88 green =1×82×8 green =816 green

14 yellow =14×44 yellow =1×44×4 yellow =416 yellow

So, we will colour 4 red, 8 green and 4 yellow blocks in the grid.
