Draw a line segment QR=3.5cm:

With Q as center, draw an arc of radius 4cm:

With R as center, draw an arc of radius 4cm:

Let P be the point where the two arcs intersect. Join PQ and QR and label the sides:

Step 2. Identity the type of a triangle.

Since, two sides are equal.

If two sides of a triangle are equal then the triangle is isosceles triangle

Hence, the triangle is isosceles triangle.
