Solution

Area ABCD = ar ABD + ar BCD
ar ABD = s(sa)(sb)(sc),s=a+b+c2=7+5+4.22=8.1cm
= 8.1(8.17)(8.15)(8.14.2)=8.1×1.1×3.1×3.9
= 10.40cm2
ar BCD = s(sa)(sb)(sc),s=7+6+42=8.5cm
= 8.5(8.57)(8.56)(8.54)=8.5×1.5×2.5×4.5
12cm2
ar ABCD = 12 + 10.40 = 22.40
