Solution

Area of ABCD = ar ABC + ar ACD
ar ABC = s(sa)(sb)(sc),s=7+6+52=9cm
= 9(97)(96)(95)=9×2×3×4=14.70cm2
ar ACD = s(sa)(sb)(sb),s=4+6+4.22=7.1cm
= 7.1(7.14)(7.16)(7.14.2)=7.1×3.1×1.1×2.9
= 840cm2
ar ABCD = 14.70 + 8.40 = 23.1cm2
