Draw quadrilateral ABCD with the following measurements. Find also its area.
AB = 5.5 cm, BC = 6.5 cm, BD = 7 cm, AD = 5 cm and BAC = 50o .

Area ABCD = ar ABD + ar BCD
ar ABD = s(sa)(sb)(sc),s=5.7+5+72=8.75
= 8.75(8.755.5)(8.755)(8.757)=8.75×3.25×3.75×1.75
= 13.66cm2

ar BCD = s(sa)(sb)(sc),s=7+5+6.52=9.25cm
= 9.25(9.257)(9.255)(9.256.5)=9.25×2.25×4.25×2.75
= 15.60cm2
ar ABCD = 13.66 + 15.60 = 29.20cm2
