In the given circuit, one terminal of the bulb is connected to one end of the cell while its other terminal is connected to a safety pin. However, the other end of the safety pin is not connected with one of the drawing pins. Thus, the circuit is not complete. The safety pin represents a switch in the ‘OFF’ position. Hence, we have a conducting wire, a switch in the OFF position, an electric bulb and a cell.
