Solution

The nucleus is the major part of a eukaryotic cell, that contains the genetic material. The genetic material is found inside the nucleus in the form of chromatin fibres or chromosomes. Each nucleus remains enclosed in a nuclear membrane or nuclear envelope. It is a double membrane surrounding the nucleus. It has some minute pores called the nuclear pore. It contains another structure called the nucleolus, which is a small dense spherical structure.
