  1. It is actually a diagrammatic representation that will describe the bonding of the atoms.
  2. It may also define the number of lone pairs of electrons that will exist in a molecule of atoms.
  3. It is also known as the Lewis dot structure.
  4. So in the electron dot structure of F2, there is not any difference in the electronegativities of the fluorine atom and so will form a covalent bond by the sharing of electrons.
  5. In the fluorine atom, there is the presence of the 7 valence electrons, so it will get stabilized by the sharing of one electron each.
