Draw the graph of {sin x}
We know the graph of y= sin x looks like
When we do the transformation f(x)→f(x), plot horizontal lines for integral values of y and for the
points of intersection with f(x), draw vertical lines and translate the graph between y=0 and y=1. In
the above graph also we marked integer points on y-axis (-1,0,1). Whichever parts is outside [0,1], we
bring it between the lines y=0 and y=1.
