The given equation is y = 3x + 2.
Putting x = 0, we get y = (3 × 0) + 2 = 2.
Putting x = 1, we get y = (3 × 1) + 2 = 5.
Thus, we have the following table:

y 2 5


On a graph paper, draw the lines X'OX and YOY' as the x-axis and y-axis, respectively.
Now, plot the points A(0,2) and B(1,5) on the graph paper.
Join AB and extend it on both sides.
Thus, line AB is the required graph of the equation, y = 3x + 2.
