Draw the graph of the given quadratic equation y=x2+x6

The given quadratic equation is y=x2+x6. When we substitute different values of x in the equation

y=x2+x6

then the value of y changes accordingly.


When x=0 then

y=(0)2+06=0+06=6

The point is B(0,6)

When x=1 then

y=(1)2+16=1+16=4

The point is C(1,4)

When x=1 then

y=(1)2+(1)6=116=6

The point is A(1,6)

Hence, the coordinates are B(0,6), C(1,4) and A(1,6)and the graph of the quadratic equation y=x2+x6 is as shown in the figure.
