Draw the location of polestar showing the direction from the Great Bear and the Casseopia constellations.​

Great Bear constellation:
  • Find out two stars (shown in the figure) that are part of the quadrilateral near one end of this constellation.
  • Imagine a straight line passing through these stars as shown in the figure alongside.
  • Extend this imaginary line towards the north direction. This is the pole star.


Cassiopia constellation:
  • We have recently learned that the Casseopia is shaped like the letter W. The pole star is above the first "V" of this letter.
  • If you draw a line dividing the angle of that "V" in half and continue along it, you will reach the vicinity of the pole star.
