Here we have a plane mirror and a point-size object at a certain distance from it.
Two light rays are needed to form an image, so let’s consider two light rays falling onto the mirror from the object and one ray straight at the mirror.
The rays would reflect in such a way that the angle of reflection is the same as the angle of incidence.
So, the first ray would just simply rebounce back tracing its incident path. The other one would reflect at an angle same as the angle of incidence.
