Due to a rise of 12% in the price of mangoes a dealer gets 27 kg less for Rs 24750. Find(a) The new price per kg of mangoes.(b) The original price per kg of mangoes (approximately).

Let us consider the problem.
Original price is Rs x per. kg.
New price is Rs 1.12x
since, Dealer gets 27kg. less for Rs. 24750 at new price.
hence,
247501.12x+27=24750x
(24750+30.2x1.12x)=24750x
24750+30.4x=24750×1.12
30.24x=2772024750
hence,
x=297030.24=98.21
There fore new price is Rs 98.21×1.12= Rs. 110
