Due to charging by friction, negatively charged particles accumulate at the bottom of clouds.
During lightining the clouds carry positive as well as negative charges, but why the negative charges accumulate at the bottom while the positive at the top portion of the cloud?
during lightning the clouds become negatively charged at the bottom and postively charged at the top. the ground is also positively charged. but charge flows from the positive to the negative side so why doesn't lightning flow from the ground to the sky?
At ground why only positive charge is available?in lightning why negative charges accumulated at lower edges?if cloud have a negative charge and ground have a positive charge it attracts the cloud , how is electricity formed?
