Due to moon's gravity the oceans have tide. the water is attracted by the moon, then why not the water in my glass spills out.

The size of the glass is too small in comparison to the size of an ocean. Thus the mass of water contained in it is very less. As we know, the gravitational force is directly proportional to the mass, tides are not formed in the glass.
