Solution

Rate of discount on all items = 10%
Marked Price of a pair jeans = Rs. 1450 and Marked Price of a shirt = Rs 850
Total marked price = Rs.(1450+2×850)=Rs(1450+1700)=Rs.3150
Given that, discount % = 10%
Discount = 10% of Rs 3150
Discount=10100×3150=Rs.315
Also, Dicount = Marked Price - Sale price
315 = 3150 - Sale price
Sale price = Rs (3150 - 315)= Rs. 2835
Thus the customer will have to pay Rs. 2,835
