During a sale, a shop offered a discount of 10% on the marked prices of all the items. What would a customer have to pay for one jeans marked at Rs.1450 and two shirts marked at Rs.850 each?

Discount on the jeans =10% of Rs 1450 =1450×10100=Rs145
Costs of both the shirts = Rs 850+850=1700
Discount on the the two shirts =10% of Rs 1700 =1700×10100Rs 170
Total discount = Rs 145+170= Rs 315
Selling of the goods =(1450+1700)315= Rs 3150315= Rs 2835
