Given that, An ideal gas obeys a condition
P2ρ=k ......(1)
P2RTPM=k ⎢ ⎢ ⎢ρ=MV=MRTP⎥ ⎥ ⎥
From this we can write that,
PT=MkR=constant ......(2)
In comparision, the above formula looks similar to xy=constant
Which is an equation for Rectangular hyperbola.
The PT graph gives a rectangular hyperbola for equation of state (2).
From (1) we can say that,
P2ρ1=P2ρ2
From the data given in the question,
P2ρ=P2ρ2P=P2 (3)
From(2) we can write that
PP=TT
By using (3) we get, T=2T
Thus, options (b) and (d) are the correct answers.
