During summer season, a milkman usually adds a very small amount of baking soda to fresh milk. Give reason.

During summers, the temperature is very high and hence Lactobacillus increases which there by converts into lactic acid decreasing the pH of milk. So, the milkman usually adds a very small amount of baking soda to fresh milk to increase the pH of the solution as it is a base which neutralise the milk durring summers.
