Solution

As the Earthen pots have small pores through which the water seeps and as evaporation leads to cooling of the substance i can explain u by an eg. When we pour hot tea in a cup the tea doesn’t cool fast as it cools in saucer because evaporation takes place at the surface area the greater is the surface area the greater amount of evaporation takes place making the tea cool.
