During addition of HBr in presence of a radical initiator peroxide,to an alkyne, the product,bromoalkene does not undergo addition reaction with HBr till all alkyne are exhausted, though alkene is more reactive than alkyne towards free radical addition reaction. This is because bromoalkene is less reactive than an alkyne towards free radical addition of HBr.
