Since the sum of two angles is ${180}^{\circ }$ and the measure of one angle is less than ${90}^{\circ }$ then certainly the other should be greater than ${90}^{\circ }$ but less than ${180}^{\circ }$

An angle which measures more than ${90}^{\circ }$ but less than ${180}^{\circ }$ is called an obtuse angle.
