Find the product by suitable arrangement:

$285\times 5\times 60$

We can arrange the calculation in such a way that it becomes easy and quick to find the answer.

$285\times 5\times 60=285\times (5\times 60)$

We find the product of 5 and 60 first as it would give 300, which is nothing but $3\times 100$. Now the product of 300 and 285 will be simplified as $285\times 3\times 100$. So effectively we find the product of 285 and 3 and just add 2 zeros at the end to arrive at the final answer!
= $285\times 300$

= $85500$
