Solve:

$\frac{2}{5}+\frac{1}{6}$

$\frac{2}{5}$, $\frac{1}{6}$ are unlike fractions because their denominators are different.

The LCM of the denominators of the the fractions i.e. the L.C.M of 5 and 6 is 30.

$\therefore \frac{2}{5}+\frac{1}{6}=\frac{2\times 6+5\times 1}{30}=\frac{12+5}{30}=\frac{17}{30}$
