The first picture represents secularism. The second picture shows the federal structure of the Indian Government.The third picture represents the fundamental rights.

Solution:
  1. Secularism ensures people following different religions and faiths have the freedom to practice and follow their religion without any fear of discrimination.
Secularism in India is based on four major aspects:
  1. No religion in India is recognised as the official state religion of the country.
  2. People are free to practice and follow any religion they want or even to practice no religion at all.
  3. The constitution of India prohibits discrimination on the grounds of religion. The people of all religions are treated equally by the state.
There are special provisions in the Constitution of India for the protection of religious and linguistic minorities. For example, the constitution of India ensures the reservation in educational institutions and government jobs for minorities.

2.The second picture shows the federal structure of the Indian Government.

Federalism is a form of government where power is shared between different levels of government.
For example - In India, power is shared between the Central or Union Government, State Governments, and Local Governments.
  • Central government deals with national issues like - defense, currency, telecommunications and relationships with foreign countries. The laws related to these are mentioned in the Union List.
  • State government is responsible for handling local matters such as- policing, education and research, and agriculture. Laws related to these are mentioned in the State List.
  • Local government deals with city or village level issues. The issues under local government can be related to clean drinking water, garbage collection, maintenance of public healthcare facilities and street lights.
Each level of government derives its power from the constitution.

3.The third picture represents the fundamental rights.

Fundamental rights are the basic human rights enshrined in the Indian Constitution.
It is provided to all without any discrimination based on religion, gender and caste.
Fundamental rights protect citizens from oppression of the government or other citizens.

The Fundamental Rights guaranteed to Indian Citizens include the following:
  • Right to Equality
  • Right to Freedom
  • Right against Exploitation
  • Right to Freedom of Religion
  • Cultural and Educational Rights and the last one is
  • Right to Constitutional Remedies.
