The initial mark for apple = 27

The final mark for apple = 39

The total number of children liking apples = finalmark-initialmark

= 39-27=12

The initial mark for banana = 21

The final mark for banana = 27

The total number of children liking bananas = finalmark-initialmark

= 27-21=6

Step 2: Finding the difference between the number of children liking apples and bananas -

Number of students choosing Apples = 12
