Solution
Plasmodesmata are small channels that directly connect the cytoplasm of neighboring plant cells to each other, establishing living bridges between cells. They facilitate communication and transport of materials between plant cells.
The middle lamella is made up of pectin which acts as a gelling agent or glue that hold the cell walls of two adjoining plant cells together.
Secondary walls are located between the primary cell wall and the plasma membrane. They are mainly composed of cellulose, hemicelluloses, and lignin, and are deposited in some specialized cells, such as tracheary elements, fibers, and other sclerenchymatous cells.
