Each side of a square is $45cm$ . If the perimeter of both (square and rectangle) are same, find the breadth (in $cm$) of the rectangle if length of a rectangle is $50cm$.

Given that,

Perimeter of rectangle = Perimeter of Square of side $45cm$

$⟹2(l+b)=4a$

$⟹2(50+b)=4\times 45$

$⟹100+2b=180$

$⟹2b=180-100=80$

$⟹b=\frac{80}{2}$

$\therefore b=40cm$

i.e., The breadth of rectangle $=40cm$
