(b) 4934 cm2

Let the radius of the circle be r cm.
Then, its area = πr2 cm2
πr2 = 154
227×r×r=154
⇒ r2 = 154×722 = 49
⇒ r = 49cm = 7 cm

Side of the equilateral triangle = Radius of the circle
= 7 cm
∴ Area of the equilateral triangle = 34side2 sq. units

= 3472 cm2

= 4934 cm2
