It has been very rightly said that if we need to give only basic needs to one and all, Earth has got enough resources. But due to our greed, we are overusing resources.
This overuse of resources is leading to environmental degradation. It can be understood this as, food is a need but ice cream is greed, clothes are a need but new clothes every day is greed, housing is a need but race for a big bungalow is greed and this greed is so much that once if a person becomes the owner of the entire earth, he will strive to become the owner of the moon and this greed will never be satisfied.
Therefore, we need to work in two ways:
1. Research and development should take place for newer sources of energy so that development does not stop.
2. And we also need to keep some control over our gratification so that it does not harm the earth as it is doing at present.
