Question

😕🤔❓Earth is Spherical so why we are not falling❓😕🤔(please answer in brief)

Solution

It is due to gravity or gravitational force.

Earth had a force called gravitational force. This force is due to the core of earth( you will learn in higher classes)

According to Newtons Law, all objects attract each other and attractive force is as large as( propotional to) the mass of body.

So, by Newtons law, we are all attracted to one another due to our mass, and we are also attracted to earth.

But our mass is very small compared to mass of earth. So, our attractive force between each other is very less, and unnoticeable.

But, as earth is large, it has a huge attractive force, and this force is termed gravitational force. This force is the reason why we don't fall apart.

The earth pulls all objects towards itself. So, earth keeps us from falling by pulling us inwards.

When we jump, we can, for a moment create a firce larger than gravity. So, we move up a few inches. But then, gravity acts againand we fall back.

Moon is much smaller than earth. So it had lesser gravity. This is why astronauts leap high in air when they are in moon.
