We know that , there are $24hrs$ in one day.

Given that, rotation of the earth in one day / $24hrs$ $=360°$

Now, angle of rotation of earth in $1hr=\frac{360°}{24}$

$=15°$

According to the question,

Rotation of earth in $8hrs$ $=8\times 15°=120°$

Since, angle greater than $90°$ and less than $180°$ are called as obtuse angles.

Hence, the earth rotates an obtuse angle of $120°$ in $8hrs$.
