Echoes are the reflected sound waves that we hear. Explain.

When we produce a sound wave and it strikes an obstacle, it comes back to us after reflection, this reflected sound wave is called echo. For example, when we shout or clap near a suitable reflecting objects such as a tall building or a mountain, we will hear the same sound again a little later. This sound which we hear is called an echo.
