Football is a team sport .

• Played between two teams of eleven members each

• Ball − spherical ball ,round, leather-covered, inflated rubber bladder 27-28 inches in circumference.

• The ball weighs 397-454 grams

• Rectangular grass or artificial turf

• A goal in the centre of each of the short ends

• Length of the pitch - 100-110 m

• Width of the pitch - 64-75 m
