Solution

Stamens contains a sac-like structure known as anther. Anther is bilobed in nature. Each lobe consists of two compartments, that is two lobes consists of four compartments. These compartments contain microspore mother cell that will form micropsores or pollen grains. The anther consists of outermost sporogenous layer of cells that will behave as microspore mother cell. The anther consists of various layers of cells- the outermost epidermis, inner to epidermis is endothecium, layer of cells that form a middle layer and the innermost tapetum that provides nourishment to the growing pollen grains.
Pollen grains consists of outermost exine and inner layer intine. The exine contain a thickening of sporopollenin.
